We have obtained the OCS certificate, granted by Aenor, which evidences the conformity of our management system with the Operation Clean Sweep standard, implementing guidelines to reduce possible leaks of microplastics in the form of pellets in our production plant in Medina del Campo (Valladolid) .
Operation Clean Sweep ® (OCS) is a global initiative of the plastics industry to prevent the release into the environment of plastic particles (either pellets, flakes or dust), which can occur unintentionally in any of the stages of the plastics value chain: production, handling, transport, transformation and recycling.
This is a voluntary program for responsible management, the purpose of which is to help all operations in which plastic pellets are handled to apply good cleaning and control practices to ensure that there are no leaks into the environment.
Our certification in this matter joins the commitments already acquired by our company:
