Investigación y desarrollo ABN

Experience in more than 20 projects

We at ABN have developed great R+D+i activities. More than 20 projects have allowed us, for instance, to create production techniques, raw materials with new properties, more efficient joint systems, pipes with higher thermal and mechanical resistance, energy use systems based on thermal recovery of disposal waste waters, smart pipes that keep us informed before leakages or intrusions occur, etc. Many of these products have been endorsed by national and European patents.

R+D+i Partners

Our R+D+i activities are mostly performed in cooperation with other companies or institutions. Important companies such as Telefónica, Gas Natural Fenosa, Canal de Isabel II, Grupo Ficosa, Aqualia, Emasesa, Emasa , Aguas de Burgos, Mancomunidad de Pamplona, Aguas de Sabadell, Emalcsa, Grupo Cupa, and Aventia, among others, actively cooperate with our projects. Technological Centers such as Leitat, Cetim, Tecnalia, Aimplast, Cidaut, Cellmat, and public entities like the Universities of A Coruña, Santiago de Compostela and Valladolid are some of the partners in the developments we carry on.

RESEARCH AWARD (2014)

Awarded by the Social Council of the University of Valladolid. It acknowledges our joint work with the University of Valladolid in research, scientific development and technological innovation projects carried out in recent years. .

INNOVATIVE SME SEAL (2015)

Awarded by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness as a recognition to our efforts on research and development as the basis of our corporate policy.

MADRID SUBTERRA AWARD

Madrid Subterra distinguishes the R+D activity of ABN in the study of new thermo-active and inertial systems and in the field of energy recovery in warm waters in construction.
